In the latest move aimed to expand the internal bus network, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will launch a new bus route in Dubai from Sept.9.
Authority also plans to improve the services of three other bus routes.
SM1 the new route, will start from the Gold Souk Bus Station to Souk Al Marfa at Deira Islands.
On its route the bus will pass along Al Khaleej Street.
There will be a bus after every 60 minutes on this new route.
RTA will also adjust the path of Route (14), nearby Al Safa Stop to cover the seaside section of the Business Bay Bus Station.
Path of Route (F51) nearby the Dubai Investment Park Metro Station n as well as the path of Route (F55) at Emaar South will also be improved upon to cover additional residential areas.
11 bus routes namely: 5, 14, 88, 310, X64, F51, F46, F27, F12, DPR1 and C28 will also be improved upon to match the timings of these journeys.
