A horrific accident took place in Saudi Arabia, which led to the death of two people. Three others were injured; among them two are in serious condition.
The incident took place at Al-Habil Road.
A CCTV camera in the area recorded the moment of the accident.
The official spokesman for the Red Crescent Authority branch in the Asir region, Ahmed Al-Almai, said that the operations room in the region received a report on the emergency number 997 at six o'clock on Sunday evening, from a citizen stating that a collision occurred on Al-Habil Road near Faye station.
He said that immediately three ambulance teams belonging to the Saudi Red Crescent were dispatched to the site and reached around 18:20.
The team said that it was a head-on collision between two vehicles that resulted in two deaths and three injuries, two of them in serious condition.
The emergency services transferred the deceased and injured to Al Darb Hospital.
Al Almai called on all motorists to be careful and not to overspeed or be busy while driving.
He also stressed the importance of wearing the seat belts.
In August, four people from one family were killed, and a fifth was injured in a terrible traffic accident in the Saudi city of Buraydah.
One of the vehicles caught fire after the accident, according to media reports.
The horrific accident occurred after two vehicles collided on King Faisal Road at Diras intersection, west of Buraydah.
