The UAE government announced that there would be free PCR tests for all vaccinated students and teaching staff in all private educational facilities every 30 days in order to continue the safe learning programme.
The official spokesperson for the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority Dr Saif Al Dhaheri said, “We are pleased to announce that, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, it has been decided to conduct PCR laboratory tests for all students and administrative, academic and technical cadres of the vaccinated category for free every 30 days in all private educational facilities.
“The examination centres that will provide free examination for this category will be announced, in coordination and cooperation with the educational and health sectors."
Dhaheri also said that the UAE ministry aims to facilitate movement of students between the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
He said we are pleased to announce the adoption of the approved COVID-19 applications for these countries from the Ministry of Health in each country to enter the United Arab Emirates.
These applications will be used to prove the status of vaccination and examinations from outside the country, with the commitment of those coming from the countries of the GCC to all protocols for entering the country, including conducting a PCR examination.
The results will be synchronised and will be work according to the green pass system.
