The UAE Government Media Office has announced that it would hold the second media conference on Sunday (Sept.12, 2021) to reveal a new package of the “Projects of the 50," in the presence of ministers and officials from the relevant entities, with local, regional and international media coverage at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.
The event comes in line with the announcement made by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, early this September, to establish a comprehensive development with the beginning of the next fifty years, leading to the UAE Centennial-2071.
The second package of “Projects of the 50” will feature a new integrated group of purposeful initiatives that have been developed by the UAE government to reinforce that national strategies and to establish a sustainable future for its people and economy for the next 50 years.
The second package of the national strategic projects aimed at establishing a new phase of growth for the UAE, both internally and externally.
These projects further aim at enhancing the country’s regional and global position in all sectors, and promote human competitiveness in the UAE, to reach the best ranks globally and the best indicators locally and internationally.
The new package of the 50 projects promotes the achievement of qualitative leaps for the national economy, which serves as a top national priority for the UAE government, and the main factor that ensures a decent life for its people and future generations.
The 50 projects, which will be announced successively throughout the month of September, target all members of society, citizens and residents, and the public and private sectors.
Their positive impact will include everyone who lives in the UAE or chooses it as a destination for work, creativity and growth during the next five decades.
The first media event was attended by a number of ministers and officials to launch unprecedented initiatives that enhance the UAE's position as a global destination for attracting investments and talents, establishing advanced industrial projects, activating opportunities for the digital economy and adopting advanced technology.
It witnessed record local, regional and international media coverage, which reached 229 million people around the world, in just 24 hours after the announcement of the first package of the “Projects of the 50.”
