VIDEO: UAE announces 725 new coronavirus cases, 2 deaths

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that it has conducted 298,919 additional COVID-19 tests and detected 725 new coronavirus cases.
All the infected individuals belong to different nationalities, are in a stable condition after receiving the necessary care.
All new test were done by using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, said the Ministry in a statement.
Total number of deaths in the country reached to 2,062 after Ministry announced two new deaths due to COVID-19 related complications.
With 945 new recoveries, the total number of individuals who have fully recovered from the infections in the UAE reached to 719,163.
The Ministry also announced that it has adminstered 59,818 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry statement the total number of doses provided up to Saturday stands at 18,876,969 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 190.86 doses per 100 people.
Expressing its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, the Ministry called upon all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities and adhere to all the precautionary measures.
