About 94 per cent of the UAE citizens and residents are optimistic about the steps for the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic taken by the government.
This was revealed by a survey conducted by the UAE Ministry of Ministry of Community Development.
The survey also revealed that the recent percentage of optimism is way above the 34% per cent of optimism level in April 2020.
Nasser Al Zaabi, official spokesperson for the Ministry of Community Development, said that based on the survey the sense of trust and safety reached 95% in last August compared to 25% in April 2020.
“The initial results of the survey showed that 90% supported gradual return to mosques and places of worship, 79% supported a 100% return to the workplace, and 73% supported the return to schools,” said Al Zaabi during the weekly briefing on the COVID-19 situation in the UAE.
