Sultan orders transfer of Dhs75.7m to retirees of Sharjah Police

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, approved the transfer of Dhs75.766 million to be disbursed next Sunday to 453 retirees of Sharjah Police with a retroactive effect of 3 years and 8 months.
Sheikh Sultan on Tuesday directed to increase pension of 453 retirees of Sharjah Police to Dhs17,500 with a total of Dhs40 million annually.
For his part, Major General Saif Al Zari, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, through the Direct Line radio programme commended gesture of the Sharjah Ruler, noting that the cheques will be available at GHQ of Sharjah Police to be handed over to the beneficiaries on Sunday morning.
Separately, Sheikh Sultan issued an Emiri Decree No. 34 for 2021 calling on municipal councils in the Emirate of Sharjah to convene for the first regular session of the seventeenth annual term.
The Emiri Decree stipulates that the municipal councils in the Emirate of Sharjah are called to convene for the first regular session of the 17th annual term, on 19th September, each at its headquarters.
