UAE reports 564 new COVID-19 cases, administers 83,410 doses of vaccine

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced on Thursday that it has conducted 275,823 additional COVID-19 tests and detected 564 new coronavirus cases.
The new cases bring the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 731,307.
All the infected individuals belong to different nationalities and are in a stable condition after receiving the necessary care.
All the tests were conducted using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment.
Total number of deaths due to COVID-19 in the country rose to 2,069 after the Ministry announced one new death on Thursday.
An additional 650 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries in the UAE to 722,723.
Also on Thursday Ministry announced that 83,410 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were given in the past 24 hours. The total number of doses provided up to Thursday stands at 19,247,164 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 194.60 doses per 100 people.
Expressing its sincere condolences to the family of the victims, the Ministry called upon all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all.
