The Russian authorities are pursuing a killer who blew up a police station, hours after he killed three people, including a five-year-old child, by suffocating him with a pillow, according to local media.
The horrific murders took place in the Russian region of Voronezh, after a 34-year-old man, "Vladimir S." stole a car from a parking lot in the village of Shchuchi, and then went to the village of Volchanskoye, where he killed a 59-year-old woman, her 19-year-old son and her grandson. The five-year-old was smothered with a pillow.
The crimes did not stop there.
Rather, he decided to blow up a police station in the area, so he wore a camouflage uniform, a flak jacket and a helmet.
He placed an explosive device at the entrance to the police station, detonated it, then threw a grenade inside it, and fled, according to what was documented by the surveillance cameras. Investigations revealed that the attacker had been constantly in conflict with the victims recently, but the police did not take any action against him.
The police began pursuing the fugitive after the man committed the crime.
