The Dubai Court of Appeal upheld a ruling issued by the Court of First Instance, sentencing a gang of 4 Asians to three years in jail over coercing a minor girl under 18 into prostitution.
The convicts will be deported after serving the terms, the Court ruled.
The case dates back to last October, when reliable information was forwarded to the Anti-Human Trafficking Department at Dubai Police, about a gang coercing a minor girl into dirty business in favour of the major convict in the case.

According to the case’s papers, a police team, following confirmation of the information received, arrested the gang members in flagrante delictio.

One of the convicts admitted that she exploited the victim's need to find a job through which she could increase her income, and brought her to Dubai on a visit visa. She accompanied the victim on her journey from her home country who presented her to the convicts with whom she connived to exploit use the girl into prostitution to earn money.
They all admitted that were renting a room in a hotel for that purpose.
