The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) detected 298 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
The ministry said that it conducted 338,923 additional COVID-19 tests using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment.
The authorities said that 360 previously infected cases fully recovered from the dreaded disease.
The health experts said that one person died due to COVID-related complications.
The authorities have expressed sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and prayed for the speedy recovery of the infected cases.
The health ministry revealed that COVID-19 cases in the UAE have been gradually decline.
The authorities, along with undeterred commitment from the community members led to this achievement.
In a year’s time, it was on August 8, 2020, the UAE reported 283 cases.
The experts have urged members of the public to follow the precautionary measures to curb the spread of virus.
