VIDEO: Emirates makes first takeoff with head-turning Expo 2020 Dubai livery

Emirates Airline’s aircraft with head-turning Expo 2020 Dubai livery took off from Dubai Airport on Wednesday.

The beautiful A380 was heading to Los Angeles Airport.

It was the first time the aircraft had such a bold message on Expo.

A social media users wrote, “First Take Off for this @emirates A380 out of @DXB with the new @expo2020dubai on its way to @flyLAXairport…”

Emirates is the Premier Partner and Official Airline of Expo 2020 Dubai.

Recently, the aircraft revealed the head-turning livery.

The aircraft has special messages, “Dubai Expo” and “Be Part of the Magic” run across both sides of the A380 fuselage.

The engine also carry the Expo 2020 Dubai messages and dates of the event.

In addition, the brave Burj Khalifa stuntwoman who appeared in the recent viral Emirates ad, carries an invitation to visit the event on both sides of the aircraft, holding a message board that read, “See you there” and “Dubai Expo Oct-Mar 2022.”

The opening ceremony of Expo will be broadcast live from over 430 locations across the UAE on Thursday evening, giving everyone the opportunity to follow this extraordinary event wherever they are.

The ceremony is set to start at 07:30pm on Thursday evening (Sept.30).
