Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum shared a bird’s eye view of the Expo 2020 Dubai site on Wednesday.
The Dubai Crown captioned the video, “Are you ready for @expo2020dubai?”
Expo 2020 Dubai will take place from Oct.1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.
The opening ceremony of Expo will be broadcast live from over 430 locations across the UAE on Thurday, giving everyone the opportunity to follow this extraordinary event wherever they are.
The audience will be watching the opening ceremony through screens in many locations, including airports, shopping centers, hotels and other landmarks of the country, and following the entire ceremony live on the air.
The ceremony is set to start at 07:30pm on Thursday evening (Sept.30).

On Sept.27, the royal toured the Expo 2020 Dubai site on a bicycle.
Sheikh Hamdan said on Twitter, “A meeting of the minds, and communication through culture… This is how we create the future, right here from Expo 2020 Dubai. I am so proud of our teams for all their efforts to make this a reality and I also thank our National Service personnel for their outstanding efforts.”
He also met some working teams based at the site and praised their relentless efforts in shaping the future of Dubai.
The Expo 2020 is one of the largest events to take place globally since the pandemic began, and the organizers assure that health and safety is the utmost priority.
