Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority in association with Canon MEA (CME), provider of imaging technologies and services and with the support of Keolis-MHI, will launch a photography contest via social media channels marking the opening of Expo 2020 Dubai.
The event aims to promote the hosting of the Expo 2020 Dubai and encourage the public to use public transport means to commute from and to Expo.
Several social media influencers will be involved in the contest and they will announce each contest phase through their social media accounts.
To make it easy for the participants the contest is divided into three phases.
Phase I will mark Public Transport Day and will be launched in October to encourage participants to make public transport their first mobility choice while travelling from their locations to Expo site.
Phase II of the contest will be launched in November, where participants will be required to shoot the Dubai''s landmarks and eye-catching localities they come across while travelling to the site of Expo.
Th e second phase will focus on constructed road networks, flyovers, and service roads.
Phase III, which will be launched in January, will mark the final stage of the photography contest.
The last and the final phase will focus on the tourist attractions, open for visitors, where tourists can make cultural tours and savour visiting squares and world-class malls.
