Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, has approved the launch of a digital platform that allows citizens registered in the housing programme to exchange grants, land and housing units among themselves, according to their personal priorities.
Sheikh Hamdan also approved giving priority to allocating land and housing for first-degree family members in the same area, to ensure the preservation of the "extended family" system, which forms the backbone of societal cohesion, in line with the UAE's keenness to build a cohesive society.
“The huge housing programme will contribute to create an ideal environment for work and life in Dubai, improving the quality of life for citizens, enhancing family stability, and strengthening social cohesion,” said Hamdan.
