His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Arif Alvi at the headquarters of Expo 2020 Dubai on Saturday.
Both the leaders discussed the future of bilateral relations in light of the historical ties between the two countries.
Arif Alvi arrived in the UAE on Saturday on a two‑day visit. UAE's Minister of Justice, Abdullah Bin Sultan Bin Awad Al Nuaimi welcomed him at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai.
Arif Alvi met heads of leading investment and technology firms in Dubai.
He also witnessed the signing of three Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)s between Pakistan’s Special Technology Zones Authority with Mastercard, Galaxy racer (E-sports) and Shorooq Partners VC Funds.
Alvi invited the companies to invest in Pakistan’s diverse sectors particularly in e-business.

Addressing the Investment Conference organised by Special Technology Zones Authority, Arif Alvi said that was committed to offer promising business opportunities for foreign investors through one-window operations in sectors of innovation and technology.
