A 2-year-old Indian boy Kshan Yogesh Gola and a Kenyan national Ashwani Ganjoo became millionaires on Wednesday when the latest draw for Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise promotion were announced.
The draw was conducted in Concourse D of Terminal 1 of Dubai International Airport on Wednesday.
Gola’s father has purchased the winning ticket number 2033 in Millennium Millionaire Series 371 in his son’s name on their way back to Dubai from a vacation in Mumbai.
Sharjah-based father of Gola has bought the ticket for the first time in his son’s name.
Gola’s mother Dhanshree Bandal was shocked after hearing the news and thanked God for the amazing win.
Gola become 184th Indian national to have won $1 million since the start of the Millennium Millionaire promotion in 1999.
Ashwani Ganjoo, a 52-year-old Kenyan national based in Nairobi, won $1 million in Millennium Millionaire Series 372 with ticket number 2626.
Ganjoo purchased the ticket on his way to Delhi from Dubai on Oct.1.
Ganjoo, who is a regular participant of Dubai Duty Free draw, is a CEO for a trading company in Nairobi.
“I'm very thankful to God and to Dubai Duty Free, you really made my day!” he said.
Ganjoo plans to do a bit of charity works while the rest of the money he plans to keep it for himself.
Ganjoo is only the 2nd Kenyan national to have won in Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire promotion since 1999.

Wednesday’s Millennium Millionaire draw was conducted by Dubai Duty Free's Executive Vice Chairman & CEO, Colm McLoughlin, COO Ramesh Cidambi, Executive Vice President - Corporate Services, Salah Tahlak, Sinead El Sibai, SVP – Marketing, Michael Schmidt, SVP - Retail and. Zayed Al Shebli, SVP – Corporate Security and Loss Prevention.
Following the Millennium Millionaire draw the Finest Surprise draw was conducted for two luxury motorbikes.
Elisabeth Parsons, a 48-year-old Australian national based in Dubai won a BMW F 900 XR (Racing Red) motorbike, with ticket number 0088 in Finest Surprise Series 472.
She purchased the ticket on her way to Hungary to pick up her daughter on Sept.24.
Jose Anto, an Indian national based in Dubai won a Harley-Davidson Pan America RA 1250 (Vivid Black) motorbike
He bought ticket number 0544 in Finest Surprise Series 473 on Sept.29 at the airport.
