A security man, Thamer Al-Nawi, recounted the details of a video clip circulating on social media, showing the moment he extinguished a fire that broke out at a gas station in Al Jawf.
According to Saudi website "Akhbar 24," he said that when he went this morning (Tuesday) to his workplace at Al-Jawf Airport, he stopped at one of the fueling stations, and entered the supplies center at the station.
He added that the driver of a vehicle did not notice that the station worker had not finished refueling his vehicle.
He started the vehicle without realizing that the fuel pipe was still attached to his car.
The car pulled out the fuel dispenser from its place that started a fire.
He indicated that he rushed to the fire extinguisher that was present at the site, and immediately put out the burning fire, which lasted for about 4 minutes, noting that no one was hurt by the fire.
