The UAE on Tuesday announced safety protocols for residents to attend the activities of the Commemoration Day and the 50th UAE National Day.
This came during the weekly briefing on coronavirus situation in the country.
According to the protocols organisers of the event are required to form specialised teams to ensure that everyone is adhering to the protocol and its guidelines.
The teams will manage the event’s entry and exit points to prevent crowds.
While greeting, authorities urged the attendees to maintain social distance, avoid shaking hands or hug. When taking photos, we also ask them to keep proper distance.
Organisers are also asked to sanitise public areas regularly and install sanitisation stations at the entry and exit of public washrooms.
Residents are also urged to follow up on local authorities’ protocols and strictly adhere to their guidelines during the entire period of national celebrations.
“Let us celebrate safely and maintain the gains and efforts done so far, for the health and safety of everyone,” official said.
“Today, our role is to preserve what we have achieved so far, while at the same time adhere to all preventive measures as we reopen gradually and return to normalcy, in order to ensure sustainable recovery,” official added.
