Malala Yousafzai, the youngest Nobel laureate and education activist, got married in Birmingham.
As soon as Malala broke the news on Twitter, social media users started digging to find out who the better half was.
Malala shared the photos of her wedding on Twitter posing next to her husband Asser Malik.
The couple looked cute and happy.
Malala said on Twitter, “Today marks a precious day in my life. Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life. We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham with our families. Please send us your prayers. We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead.”
But who is Asser Malik?
Asser works for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He is the General Manager High Performance at PCB and joined the firm in May 2020.
Malik also worked with the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans as an operational manager and he also ran a player management agency.
He received his bachelor's degree in economics and political science in 2012 from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). After the wedding ceremony, Asser also took to Instagram and posted pictures of the ceremony.
