Gulf Today Report
A Tennessee pastor has been hailed as a hero after he pinned down a gunman during church service at the Nashville Light Mission Pentecostal Church on Sunday.
The "heroic acts" the pastor saved the church from further violence, police said.
Nashville subway police said no shots were fired during Sunday's incident at the church.
According to police, the 26-year-old drew a gun as the pastor prayed with several people at the altar and told everyone to get up as he waved and pointed the gun at the congregation.
In the video, now viral, the pastor could be seen confronting the man.
Several church members also helped disarm and detain him until the police arrived at the scene.
The man was charged with 15 counts of aggravated assault, the police report said.
