His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met Dr Bisher Al Khasawneh, Prime Minister of Jordan, during his visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum discussed with the Prime Minister of the sisterly Jordan the future of bilateral relations between the two countries in light of the strong historical ties that unite the two brotherly countries and peoples within the framework of consensus on vital issues, increasing the utilisation of available resources and promoting the future of sustainable development.

Sheikh Mohammed was briefed, during his tour of the Jordanian pavilion, which bears the slogan “Thresholds of the Future,” on the development that Jordan has achieved in many fields, aspects of cooperation and investment, and future opportunities for partnership with various sectors in Jordan, and the most prominent Jordanian achievements in many fields.
The economic and social sectors, in addition to the history of the Jordan Pavilion, its tourism components and future plans.

Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the UAE’s approach and its constant keenness to build bridges of constructive communication between brotherly peoples and to discover more partnerships and opportunities that would pave the way towards completing the sustainable development model and moving to a future rich in opportunities for progress and prosperity, to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
MERGING NATURE WITH ARCHITECTURE: Sheikh Mohammed also inspected the pavilion of the friendly state of Singapore. During the visit, Sheikh Mohammed was briefed on green spaces and innovative digital and urban solutions, as the Singaporean experience shows the possibility of developing appropriate agendas. To integrate nature, architecture and technology through different digital designs and strategies, putting green architecture at the top of its priority list.
Sheikh Mohammed praised the relations of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries and their cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, tourism, cultural and educational fields, expressing his aspiration to further strengthen the UAE-Singaporean relations and push them forward with the great opportunities available to them for development, growth and prosperity.
Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied during the tour by Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of the Expo 2020 Dubai Higher Committee, Sheikh Mansour Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimi, Minister of State for International Cooperation Affairs, and Director General of Expo 2020 Dubai.
MOHAMMED MEETS PRESIDENT OF BRAZIL AT EXPO 2020 DUBAI: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Saturday met with President of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro at Expo 2020.
His Highness and President Bolsonaro explored avenues to strengthen ties between the two countries as well as future opportunities and new strategic partnerships in a range of fields.
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed praised Brazil’s development drive in various sectors and highlighted the UAE’s keenness to boost cooperation in the fields of trade, agriculture, energy and other vital industries. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and a number of ministers and officials.
President Bolsonaro expressed his country’s desire to enhance cooperation with the UAE, and strengthen economic cooperation, trade and knowledge and cultural exchange. Bolsonaro highlighted how the UAE has emerged as an important gateway to world trade, backed by its openness, flexibility and economic diversity.
Sheikh Mohammed and President Bolsonaro witnessed the signing of a number of agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
