VIDEO: Old building collapses, passerby miraculously survives in Egypt

Large parts of an uninhabited 3-floor building, collapsed in the Mansheya area in Alexandria, Egypt, without causing human injuries or losses to neighboring properties.

The footage of a surveillance camera showed the moment the building collapsed amid the panic and screams of the people, while a passerby survived when the property fell after a few seconds.

The operations room of the Al Gomrok neighborhood had received a report that parts of a building had fallen, and the neighborhood officials moved to its location.

Through the examination of the site, it was shown that the building is old and uninhabited, consisting of a ground floor and two upper floors.

An official source at the municipal department revealed that the property was old and dilapidated, and it was previously presented to the dilapidated installations committee at the department, which issued a demolition order, but it was not implemented.
