The world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, celebrated UAE 50th National Day on Thursday with pomp and vigour, while adhering to government guidelines to stem the spread of the coronavirus and its variants.
Dubai’s Burj Khalifa wrote on Twitter, “Let us celebrate 50 glorious years of growth, progress and prosperity of our nation as we look forward to the next 50 years!”
The Dubai International Airport also marked the national day celebrations at its premises.
It wrote, “Led by Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Dubai Airports gathered with the wider airport community to officially mark the UAE’s 50th National Day and join the countrywide Golden Jubilee celebrations @DXB’s Terminal 3.”
