The Government of India has decided to extend the international flights suspension date to Jan.31, 2022 with the emergence of Omicron.
The authorities said the new Omicron variant has triggered a fresh wave of concerns over international travel, leading to the imposition of new travel measures by several nations.
The authorities also said that restriction would not affect international all-cargo operations and flight specifically approved with air bubble.
The authorities clarified that some flights will be allowed on a case-to-case basis.
