The Saudi famous YouTuber and Snapchat star, Mohammed Al Shammari, died on Thursday evening, in a terrible traffic accident, while traveling to Riyadh with his family, according to social networking sites.
The Saudi local news website “Sabq” stated in a report, “Al Shammari was traveling to Riyadh with his family, before he had a terrible accident, in which he died, while the condition of the rest of his family has not been confirmed.”
Twitter users shared the first moments of the video of the accident that killed Mohammed Al Shammri and others shared the last videos of Al Shammri, which he shared on his Snapchat account during his trip to Riyadh.
In one of the videos, Mohammad Al Shammari filmed himself with his two sons, one of whom was taking pictures of the trip. Al Shammari was pointing to his son, saying, “He is filming and documenting." He concluded the video by saying, "Pray for us, pray for us to arrive safely, God willing."
The "Saudi News" account, which is followed by more than 15 million followers on Twitter, announced the death of Mohammad Al Shammari, saying, “The Snapchat celebrity Mohammed Al Shammari died in a traffic accident, and his last phrase he published was (pray for us to arrive safely, God willing).”
Social media users prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow mercy upon Mohammad Al Shamri and rest his soul in peace.
Despite the circulated news, no official body has yet confirmed or denied the news of his death.
