Daily coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia have climbed above 1,000 for the first time since August.
The Saudi Ministry of Health (MoH) announced the registration of 1,024 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 298 recoveries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the past 24 hours. Daily cases had fallen below 100 in September.
The ministry added that the number of critical cases reached 69, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The ministry’s statistics showed that the total number of infections in the country reached 558,106, while the recovery tally reached 542,413.
MoH reported one new death, bringing the fatalities tally in Saudi Arabia to 8,879.
