VIDEO: Cars explode in horrific collision on a Cairo highway, one dead

One person died and 8 others were injured in a horrific traffic accident at the Middle Ring Road in Cairo on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the local media reports the accident took place in the direction from the Fifth Settlement in New Cairo to Al Faiyoum at the highway tunnel in Helwan.
11 vehicles, including light cars and heavy trucks, were involved in the collision which caused some cars to explode.
Firefighting vehicles and ambulances rushed to the scene, where eyewitnesses confirmed a death and injury of a number of persons because of the horrific collision.
The Cairo Traffic Department was working on removing remains and the effects of the accident in order to restore traffic flow.
