The authorities said that the police received calls about a newborn in a dumpster at 8pm on Jan.7.
The authorities said CCTV footage revealed that the woman dumped the baby around 2pm in Block 1400 N. Thorp in Hobbs, a city located in the southeast corner of the state near the Texas border.
