The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) has announced a packed agenda of wholesome and fun-filled activities across its destinations to mark the second season of the UAE’s 'World's Coolest Winter' campaign that concludes on February 26. Targeting families and individuals of all age groups, Sharjah is now abuzz with a diverse range of lively entertainment activities as Shurooq aims to reinforce the emirate’s status as a leading global destination for families and ecotourism experiences.

Al Qasba
Al Qasba will be home to a wide variety of activities including dexterous tricks of circus performers, hand pan instrument music performances and a wide range of entertainment shows on Fridays and Saturdays starting at 4:30 till 9:45 pm.
Al Majaz Waterfront
Visitors of Al Majaz Waterfront will be greeted with performers in costumes that look alike well-known figures such as Charlie Chaplin on Fridays and Saturdays, in addition to a wide variety of activities.
Al Montazah Parks
Al Montazah Parks are hosting local and international folkloric shows that highlight cultures around the world, in addition to acrobatics and musicians who will be strolling around the parks, along with the other various activities and LED light parades. The shows at Al Montazah Parks will be starting from 5 to 9:45 pm.
Khorfakkan Beach
The pristine Khorfakkan Beach on the eastern coast of the emirate will come alive with acrobatic performances at 4:30 pm, along with musicians who will enthral visitors with amazing musical pieces between 6:00 — 9:45 pm, and many more shows that both children and adults would enjoy.
All of these shows at Al Qasba, Al Montazah Parks, Al Majaz Waterfront and Khorfakkan Beach are scheduled to be from 4:30 to 9:45 pm. on Fridays and Saturdays until the 26th of February 2022.
Spend and win
As part of the campaign, Shurooq launched its ‘Spend and Win’ promotions covering seven of its tourism destinations from which visitors will enter a raffle draw and five lucky winners will live an amazing experience at Shurooq’s world-class and award-winning hospitality destinations. Winners will be announced in March.
Visitors who spend a minimum of Dhs50 at Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Qasba, Flag Island, Heart of Sharjah, Al Noor Island, Khorfakkan Beach, and Mleiha Archaeological Centre are eligible to enter the raffle draw.
The prizes include luxury hotel stays in Mysk Al Faya Retreat in Mleiha, Mysk Al Badayer Retreat in the heart of the Al Badayer desert, The Chedi Al Bait Sharjah Hotel managed by GHM Hotels, in addition to amazing experiences at the Mleiha Archaeological Centre, which includes the Mleiha Sunset Lounge, Buggy adventures, and more.
Promoting creativity in entertainment

The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) is currently leading a diversified portfolio of infrastructure projects, with a total value of more than Dhs12 billion ($3 billion) and covering a total land space of more than 12 million sqm across Sharjah’s western, central and eastern regions.
