The Dubai Civil Defence teams have brought under control a small fire that broke out in a warehouse for storing building material on Thursday in the Al Khabaisi area of Deira. No casualties have been reported.
A source from the Civil Defence Directorate stated that the firefighting teams of the Port Said Civil Defence Station were dispatched to Al Khabaisi area after the Operations Room was alerted at 12:54 pm about a warehouse that caught fire. The teams reached the scene at 12:58 pm, achieving a response time of 4 minutes, the source added.

The field commander indicated that thick smoke emanating from the fire was because the warehouse contained flammable material.
The Civil Defence teams proceeded with extinguishing the fire, taking necessary measures to prevent it from spreading to adjacent warehouses. At 1:17 pm, the field commander confirmed that the fire was under control without any injuries or deaths, and at 1:36 pm, the teams started the cooling operations, so that the competent authorities would continue the investigations.
