The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) expects that there will be chances of light to medium rain from Saturday until Monday. It also expects the weather to be fair to partly cloudy and cloudy at times over some coastal and northern areas by night with chance of light rainfall by Sunday morning.
The winds will be light to moderate southeasterly, becoming gradually fresh northwesterly by evening and strong at times over the sea, with speed of 20 – 30 reaching 45 kilometres/hour. The sea will be slight to moderate, gradually becoming rough by evening in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.

The expected maximum range of temperatures on Saturday will be 15-30ºC in Abu Dhabi, 18-28ºC in Dubai, 12-27ºC in Sharjah, 15-28ºC in Ajman, 12-29ºC in Umm Al Quwain, 11-28ºC in Ras Al Khaimah, 18-25ºC in Fujairah, and 16-27ºC in Al Ain, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.
The weather on Sunday is expected to be dusty and partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of light to moderate rainfall at times over some coastal, northern and eastern areas, with a significant decrease in temperatures, the National Centre of Meteorology said.
The winds will be moderate to fresh northwesterly and strong at times over the sea causing blowing dust and sand, reducing the horizontal visibility over the exposed areas, with speed 20 – 30 reaching 55 kilometres/hour.
The waves will be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf and rough in the Oman Sea.
The National Centre of Meteorology also noted that the weather on Monday would be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of light to moderate rainfall at times over some coastal, northern and eastern areas during daytime, with an increase in temperatures.
It is further expected to be humid by night and Tuesday morning over some western areas with a chance of fog formation. The winds will be light to moderate northwesterly to northeasterly freshening at times especially over the sea during daytime with speed of 15 – 25 reaching 40 kilometres/hour. The waves will be rough by morning and slight in the afternoon in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to mild in the Oman Sea, the National Centre of Meteorology added.
