In coordination with the Kalba Police, Sharjah, the National Search and Rescue Centre (NSRC) on Sunday airlifted a Lebanese man who sustained wounds while mounting a mountain in Wadi Al Helo.
The police’s operations room in Kalba received a report, stating that a person sustained injuries in the leg after he fell from a height in a mountainous area in Wadi Al Helo.
Following the coordination with Kalba Police, the injured person was located by the operational systems assisted by the operations room’ team at the NSRC and with the help of the rescue and search helicopter, was airlifted and transferred to Kalba Hospital in Sharjah to receive the necessary treatment, while ensuring and observing all precautionary and preventive measures related to the coronavirus.
