Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, checked on the health of a 6-year-old Emirati girl who was rescued by a Civil Defence team after she had fallen into a water well.
He visited the girl in Dibba Al Fujairah Hospital in the presence of her parents and a number of officers and wished her fast recovery. He also praised the efforts of Fujairah Civil Defence staff, which culminated in rescuing the girl in record time.
Sheikh Saif was accompanied by Major General Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior, Major General Salem Ali Mubarak Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior for Resources and Support Services, Brigadier Ali Obaid Al Tunaiji, Director of Fujairah Civil Defence Department, and a number of officers.
A Fujairah civil defence team rescued the Emirati girl after falling in a 15-metre deep well in Wasit area in Dibba Al Fujairah after receiving a report to this effect. Earlier, the team had just dealt with a fire that broke out in a villa in Al Rafaa in Dibba Al Fujairah and brought it under control. The tea, also rescued Emirati woman and girl who had been stuck inside the villa.
