Four Emiratis were killed in a grisly traffic accident at the intersection of Al Khafji Road with the border crossing, according to Saudi Arabia’s Al Ekhbariya TV.
The channel said on its Twitter account that a serious accident occurred at the intersection of Al Khafji Road with the border crossing, resulting in the death of four Emiratis.
The accident took place due to a bend that the Ministry of Transport had previously approved for a bridge project to regulate traffic movement, it added, noting that work in the project had been stalled for more than 6 years now.
