A video clip from northern Jordan has been doing the rounds on social media platforms.
The video shows a man falling off the escalator gap while trying to sit on the guardrail.
According to the clip, the young man swayed while sitting on the edge of the escalator rail in a dangerous manner, causing him to lose his balance and fall into a narrow area between the stairs.
According to Jordanian media, the young man who sustained minor injuries was treated at the site.
The authorities have launched an investigation.
