VIDEO: Saudi man torturing a small dog arrested by Riyadh police

Social media users in Saudi Arabia circulated a video clip of a citizen torturing and beating a small dog in the Laban district of the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
The video drew anger among residents.
The video showed a person grabbing a dog by the tail and hitting it violently on the ground, followed by hitting it with his shoe.
The Riyadh police said that a citizen who appeared in a circulating video clip beating an animal on a public street in Riyadh was arrested, confirming that he was taken into custody and that legal measures were taken against him and he was referred to the Public Prosecution.
After the video spread, the pioneers of Twitter launched a hashtag about the incident and demanded that the perpetrator be transferred to psychiatric clinics for treatment.
