The Abu Dhabi Court for Family and Civil and Administrative Cases obligated a woman to pay another woman Dhs30,000 in compensation for the material and moral damages. The plaintiff had sustained abrasions and bruises after being beaten up.
Details date back to an earlier time when the plaintiff filed a lawsuit demanding that the woman pay her Dhs200,000 as material and moral compensation for the material and moral damages she sustained, with an interest of 9% from the date of the ruling, besides fees, expenses and the lawyer’s fees. The plaintiff explained that the appellee assaulted her, which resulted in her having sustaining longitudinal and transverse abrasions on her body, bruising, swelling and redness in the left forearm and upper back.
She also indicated that the court convicted the appellee and attached to the case papers a medical report and copies of other documents.
