A Filipina who allegedly asked for visit visa money from her Pakistani boyfriend was found strangled to death and stuffed in a suitcase dumped under a bridge in Dubai.
Consul General to Dubai and the Northern Emirates Renato Duenas Jr. told Gulf Today on Wednesday afternoon: “Our Assistance to Nationals Section is already handling this case and is in contact with the victim’s next of kin.”
“Our legal retainer is also already looking into the matter,” he also said.

Philippine Ambassador Hjayceelyn M. Quintana said: “Very sad to hear about this horrible death of our kababayan. I will reach out to the family and convey our condolences. We will closely monitor the case and make sure the family gets justice for the death of our kababayan.”
The primary suspect to the strangulation of 32-year-old Analisa RL was her boyfriend for four months, MNA, whom Dubai Police consequently arrested in a flat in Hor Al Hanz.
The grisly crime was uncovered when a security guard found the suitcase under the Palm Island Bridge in Deira on March 6. The security guard informed his boss who alerted the police.
MNA had admitted to strangling to death RL with a piece of cloth when they quarreled about the latter’s asking again for money to renew her visit visa.
