Internet services have been restored in the UAE after a disruption affected many yesterday.
Hundreds of Etisalat internet users in the UAE faced heavy outage on Thursday evening.
Etisalat said, “The Internet service is currently experiencing a technical malfunction.
“We apologise for the failure of some applications, knowing that we are currently following up the repair of the malfunction and its causes with the competent authorities.”
Offices, malls, restaurants and other internet-based services were affected.
Users reported that the uploads and downloads were also affected.
