A plastic surgery caused an Australian girl to suffer from a rare disease, which has only been recorded once in the world, after performing similar operations.
According to a report in "Daily Mail," it all began with the surgery performed by the Australian girl, Brianna Mackintosh, after doctors advised her to perform a "tummy tuck" operation.
As per her doctors the operation was needed after she naturally lost 50kg of weight.
However, 8 days after the operation, Brianna contracted an infection that caused inflammation and mold in the lower abdomen, what is known as "flesh-eating" disease.
This infection could lead to death as it causes damage to human tissues.
Doctors treating Brianna are currently trying to get rid of this infection, by giving her high-pressure oxygen, and putting her in a coma.
The “Daily Mail” reported that although the condition of Brianna Mackintosh has improved, she will remain under medical care for a long time to ensure that she is completely cured of this rare disease.
