In the Chinese city of Shanghai, a video of a drone catching fish in a pool has gone viral.
According to local media, a person used a drone to catch a fish from the pool during a strict lockdown imposed due to the emergence of coronavirus.
People are forced to stay indoors.
The video was shared on Twitter by Rodrigo Zeidan, a professor in Shanghai.
The video shows a drone attached to fishing gear lowered into the pool with bait on hook.
As soon as the fish took the bait, the drone pulled it up, flying several feet in the air before stopping on the balcony and showing the view of the city.
Zeidan wrote the caption, "Shopping in Shanghai, 2022 edition
The video was shared on April 16 and has already garnered over 3 million views and 900 retweets.
There are also nearly 4,000 likes.
People were intrigued by the drone catching the fish, as evidenced by a large number of comments on the video.
A Twitter user wrote: "It's as simple as that. You can do it in the wild as well.
With a drone, it is easy to spot fish in lakes and rivers.
Another person commented, “Maaaan is awesome, but it will wear out the motors on this drone.
The third comment read, "Shouldn't this fish be in the Guinness Book of World Records?"
