Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, Minister for Community Development, confirmed the completion of the disbursement of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces grant to all the beneficiaries of the social assistance across the UAE on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. Those included are all social security beneficiaries in the Ministry of Community Development and all social assistance recipients registered in local governments authorities in the UAE.

She lauded the grant of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to disburse Dhs340 million to recipients of social assistance on the occasion of the holy month in addition to the assistance which is provided to them on monthly basis as part of social support to all eligible categories in the UAE. She stressed that the leadership directives enhance all forms of support, empowerment and provide wellbeing for UAE citizens; as such all government initiatives promote the wellbeing of the UAE citizens and various members of the community.
Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid said: “The transferred amounts of the grant of His Highness to the eligible categories across the UAE was completed within 3 working days in coordination with all local authorities related to social affairs to ensure that they benefit from the grant as quickly as possible and benefit from it on the occasion of the holy month." She noted that the grant covered all the social assistance beneficiaries in the UAE as well as eligible categories; it has been distributed in accordance with the terms and procedures of the federal law on social assistance.
