VIDEO: Armchair flies out of pickup and lands on police car in US

A US state police officer had a scary moment when an unsecured armchair flew out of a pickup truck and crashed into the officer's windshield.
Luckily, no one was injured, but the vehicle sustained significant damage.
The Vermont State Police shared a video on Facebook taken from the vehicle’s dash camera.
The video clip shows the trooper travelling south on Interstate 89 in South Burlington when the chair was lifted by high winds and thrown from the back of the pickup into trooper’s windshield.
The Trooper Dylan LaMere had about a second to react before the chair landed in his car.
The driver of the truck was ticketed for unsecured cargo, police said.
Vermont State Police wrote on Facebook, “This is a good reminder that Vermont law requires loads in motor vehicles must be adequately secured at all times for the safety of everyone on the road.”
Last year, a motorist on a highway in Bangalow, New South Wales, Australia, faced a strange incident: his car camera recorded a hammer coming from an unknown location and hitting his windshield.
In the details, an old man was travelling in his car at a speed of 100 kilometres per hour on the Pacific Motorway highway on May 19, along with his grandson. The grandson published the video online, and said: “The hammer fell on the windshield of the car, fortunately my grandfather was not injured.”
Some social media viewers commented on the video, saying that a person threw the hammer at the car from the front while others said that a person hiding in the woods threw it.
