A man filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife, accusing her of falsifying statements of a declaration submitted by her in a lawsuit.
The appellant demanded that she be obligated to pay Dhs100,000 to him in compensation.
Al Ain court rejected the lawsuit for not providing evidence of his ex-wife's conviction of forgery.
Details of the case date back to an earlier time when the husband filed his lawsuit, demanding that his divorcee be obligated to pay him Dhs100,000 in comprehensive compensation, in addition to fees, expenses and lawyer’s fees.
He indicated that he and his ex-wife owned a property equally between them, but after divorce his ex-wife filed a lawsuit in which she demanded to determine her share of the property.
The court assigned a committee specialised in dividing the real estate, which stated in its report that the division was not possible, and accordingly, the lawsuit was rejected
The appellant indicated that his divorcee had filed another lawsuit on the same subject, in which she had falsified the statements she submitted, stressing that what she had done caused him material and moral damages.
