An Indian expat’s Eid celebration got superbly exciting when he was declared Abu Dhabi Big Ticket’s Dream 12 Million Series 239 winner on Tuesday.
The expat identified as Mujeeb Chirathodi won Dhs12 million.
The truck driver based in Ajman said that he could not believe that he won so much of money.
Mujeeb bought the ticket online on April 22, with the starting of the last 10 days of Ramadan with prayers.
Mujeeb revealed that his ticket number was 229710, and he definitely believes that his prayers in the last 10 days of Ramadan were answered with the prize money.
Big Ticket on Facebook said, “Congratulations to The Dream 12 Million Series 239 winners!”
Another Indian, Viswanathan Balasubramanian with ticket number 072051 won Dhs1 million.
Mujeeb will share the prize money with 10 people, all expatriates.
They all shared the money to buy the ticket. A mega raffle ticket costs Dhs500.
On the other hand, in the Big Ticket’s weekly draw held on May 1, an Indian won Dhs 300,000.
The winner has been identified as Roy Jacob.
The Big Ticket also announced the Dream Car winner.
It said on Facebook, “Congratulations to Saad Ullah Malik with Ticket No. 001506 from Pakistan for winning the Dream Car BMW Series 19!”
