Two workers were rescued at the Mars M&M factory in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania after they had stuck in a chocolate tank in the factory for over an hour. Authorities were called to help cut a hole into the tank to assist the rescue.
The first person was freed from the tank at 3:10 p.m. while the second one got out 15 minutes later.
It’s unclear if the tank was empty or contained chocolate at the time of the rescue.
The condition of both victims is unknown at this time, but both were taken to area hospitals as a precautionary measure.
It's also still not clear how the workers ended up in the tank, but the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident to uncover its circumstance.
The plant is known for making a variety of products, including M&Ms and Dove chocolate, and is located 12 miles from Hershey, Pennsylvania.
