The Saudi Arabia Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the closure of the registration window for domestic pilgrims, noting that priority is given to those who have not performed the Hajj before.
The ministry said in a press statement that the number of applicants for Hajj from inside Saudi Arabia has reached more than 390,000, adding that the selection of candidates will be done by electronic lottery.
The ministry stipulated that those who wish to register for Hajj from domestic pilgrims, whether resident or citizen, should not exceed 65 years of age.
