In China, everything is possible. Even carrying a car on a motorised cargo tricycle. Yes! That’s right. A tricycle.
A video showed an elderly man was transporting an SUV on his much smaller motorized cargo tricycle in northern China.
The video believed to be from Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province shows a white SUV loaded onto the back of the cargo tricycle.
The incident took place on June 14, 2022.
According to local media, the old man was a scrap dealer and the car he was transporting on his three-wheeler looked like a wrecked car.
In 2018, a man from east China’s Zhejiang Province was fined $203 for carrying a car on the back of his motorised tricycle.
Footage shows the man riding the tricycle along a road with a black car loaded on its back trailer in Huzhou city on May 30, 2018.
Passing vehicles had to give way as the car body occupied almost one and a half lanes.
According to the investigation carried out by local traffic police, the man, surnamed Shen, bought the car for 800 yuan and was transporting it to a scrap yard.
Apart from the fine, Shen had nine points deducted from his licence.
