UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.
A number of officials accompanied by senior members of the Royal Family were at Abu Dhabi airport for the interaction with PM.
Modi arrived at the Abu Dhabi Presidential Airport.
Narendra Modi said on Twitter, “I am touched by the special gesture of my brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, of coming to welcome me at Abu Dhabi airport. My gratitude to him…”
PM Modi conveyed his personal condolences on the passing away of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan last month to President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other Royal Family members Sheikh Tahnoun, Sheikh Mansour, Sheikh Hamed and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed.
Modi also congratulated Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed on his election as the third President of the UAE and becoming the Ruler of Abu Dhabi.
Both leaders reiterated their commitment to further deepen and diversify the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
